Line

A line in the plane is a set of all those points of the form (x,y) that satisfy an equation of the form Ax + By = C, where A, B, and C are constants with A and B not both zero. The form Ax + By = C is often called the general or standard form for the equation of a line. If A=0, the line is horizontal. If B=0, the line is vertical.
